Homework 7
Homework 7 has been posted on Utexas. I have made it due on Tuesday before 11:59 pm (instead of Monday.) You should also remember that the compound interest problems from class are due Tuesday (A-day) or Wednesday (B-day).
Finally, the marking period final exam is on Thursday and Friday. It will cover topics from the entire semester as well as regents-level trigonometry questions from last semester.

Homework 5
Homework 5 is now posted on utexas. Here are two tips:
Here are the class averages for the homeworks:
HW1: 91%
HW2: 84%
HW3: 77%
HW4: 88%
We started out strong, slipped a little, but started moving in the right direction on the last assignment. Let's shoot for a class average of 90% or better on this assignment!
- If a question asks you where a function is increasing/decreasing the most, make a graph and look at the slope.
- If you don't know what an asymptote is, look it up on wikipedia. In general, it is a line that a graph approaches without ever reaching it.

Quest 2
The second trigonometry exam of the semester has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 3 (A-Day) and Thursday, March 4 (B-Day). This is a change from the original dates on the course contract.
Also, if you did not turn in your corrections from the first exam, you must do so. The corrections count as 10 exam points, and choosing not to make the corrections will have a drastic affect on your overall grade.
